The Semiconductor Test Consortium (STC) originally set out to establish open architecture in test. Now that its original mission has been successfully completed, STC has significantly changed its charter and direction during the last year. VLSI Research Inc recently held a panel discussion with several STC member companies to gain insight on these new goals. Panel representatives include Don Edenfeld from Intel; Steve Wigley from LTX; Klaus Luther from Infineon; and Bob Helsel from Bode Enterprises. In this video, they discuss STC's new strategy and the benefits of membership; how STC members are tackling test challenges; and the impact of recent mergers and acquisitions.
