Environmental Health and Safety at Intel in 1994

The semiconductor industry has always worked hard to have and to maintain extremely high health and safety levels. This was not just because it was popular and politically correct, but rather because our industry deals with some of the most toxic and dangerous substances in existence, not only for mankind but for all life on this planet. To do otherwise would be foolish indeed.

This document, published by Intel in 1994, depicts the degree and commitment the company had toward this goal. Read the statement of their goals for 1995 and beyond on the back inside cover. Then visit their current site at http://www.intel.com/intel/other/ehs/ and see just how far they have come in meeting these goals and others introduced more recently.
